Friday, October 10, 2008. Ava has begun her adventure into solid foods. No turning back now! So far, she has eaten cereal (rice cereal and oatmeal) and some fruit. Friday, June 27, 2008. First Trip to the Ocean. We went to Cape Cod last weekend, and Ava had her first experience at the ocean. The water was too cold to dip her feet in, but she enjoyed looking at the sights! Friday, June 20, 2008. Happy Birthday, Daddy! We celebrated Matt's 32nd birthday on June 19 with a nice dinner at home. Ava wore her special "Daddy" shirt for his big day. However, she had her shots that morning, which made her very drowsy, so she slept through the entire celebration!
