We captured this amazing shot from the condo of a humpback whale breaching out of the water. I could not believe how many whales we saw while in Maui. On our last day they were swimming just a few yards from the shore, they were so beautiful! Ava's not so sure about this sand after all, especially the taste. But this did make for a great photo opportunity.

Sunday, May 31, 2009. Ava turned 5 months old yesterday and we decided to give her some rice cereal to see how she liked it. Well.she liked it. The first couple of bites ended up all over the tray and bib, but pretty soon after she kept opening her mouth for more. She even wanted to hold her own spoon as you can see. Wednesday, May 27, 2009.
