Just bits and Pieces from our travels around NZ. Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Late into the night at the momment before we trundle off into the mountains for the New Year tomorrow. It's just occured to me that I should probably work on being up past midnight and up for the dawn, just to be one of the first couple million people to welcome 2009. Hopefully, I'll be getting a new system worked out that will allow for more regular photo posting and (very optimistically) more regular textual posts as well.

Now I fear for my paychecks (once I figure out where they're going to come from) because I have visions of a big screen folding out of our car so that we can rock out while we're camping. Just bits and Pieces from our travels around NZ. Monday, May 4, 2009. She caught a fish! A 42cm kingfish we think. But the min size is 75cm so he escaped the dinner plate. EDIT: Turns out he was a kahawai, which doesn't have a minimum size and is apparently tasty eating. Oh well. It was his lucky day, and gave S a good fishing story of the "one that got away"!
