That's what I've been called. Wednesday, October 27, 2004. Diwali's coming up, and Vinay, Sush and I went to Serangoon road over the weekend to buy walk around and buy some useless things. As usual, the place is lit up beautifully (depending on your definition of beautiful). Well I did buy something - a string of lights that flash on and off in blue. Something festive to keep me company while the wife is away. Posted by katongking @ 5:38 PM. View my complete profile. Ive been updating my other blog.

That's what I've been called. Wednesday, March 30, 2005. On Statues and Shopping. Is a sprawling resort over 8 acres overlooking a small lake. Where we spotted a turtle. What was a little strange (to me at least) was the abundance of Greek-ish statues all over the place. That aside, it was a pleasant evening that we spent there. Food at the Coffee House was excellent. And I needed sleep. Got back to the hotel and ordered some pita bread with babaghanoush for supper and slept the sleep of the dead. Note t...

That's what I've been called. Wednesday, September 14, 2005. Cowboy Caleb is on my blogroll, as a very interesting read. Sometimes irreverent. Ahem, not adorable). Excerpts from "Guide To What You Should Not Be Doing With Your Life". 2] Do Not Study That Which Your Mother Told You Not To. Instead listen to your mother. Your mother is always right. Why? 4] Do Not Buy A Car Unless You Have A House. Property appreciates in (in most cases) value but a car will always be a losing deal. 7] Do Not Stop Learning.

That's what I've been called. Wednesday, May 19, 2004. The Crusades were expeditions undertaken, in fulfilment of a solemn vow, to deliver the Holy. The idea of the crusade corresponds to a political conception. Which was realized in Christendom only from the eleventh to the fifteenth century; this supposes a union of all peoples and sovereigns under the direction of the popes. All. Crusaders were also granted. Posted by katongking @ 11:52 AM. View my complete profile. Ive been updating my other blog.

Also written Manjushri, is a bodhisattva. A disciple of the historical Buddha Shakyamuni, he represents wisdom, intelligence and realization, and after Avalokitesvara is probably the most popular bodhisattva. So why am I writing about him? That's what I've been called. Tuesday, July 26, 2005. Well, I had to follow up my last entry with more details on this. AFP says:. SINGAPORE: After spending S$400,000 ($240,964) to come up with a suitable new name for the revamped downtown Marina Bay, Singapore has decided to stick to, well, Marina Bay, media reports said yesterday. The S$400,000 financed a massive branding exercise that involved market tests, focus group discussions and consultations with developers and the general public, Today said.

freakshow-on-legs: I heart Lucy Kellaway
http://freakshow-on-legs.blogspot.com/2005/08/i-heart-lucy-kellaway.html
That's what I've been called. Thursday, August 18, 2005. I heart Lucy Kellaway. Sometime ago, I used to subscribe to the Financial Times. There were three reasons for this:. I could avail of a student discount which, at 44 cents a day, made the FT cheaper than the Straits Times. And with 10 times as much content as the ST.). Reading the FT made me feel important and accomplished. But most of all I miss Lucy Kellaway. For those not in the know, Lucy Kellaway is the FT’s management columnist. I've foll...

That's what I've been called. Tuesday, August 16, 2005. It was 10:10 pm. Sa and I were sitting across from each other at a table, with tears in our eyes, sniffling and struggling to control ourselves. No we weren't fighting. It was all because of the Hatyai Devil Chilli Chicken. One of the spiciest and tastiest Thai dishes we've eaten - at Nid's place. A green gravy with pieces of chicken floating in it garnished with red. We rolled out of the restaurant happy and sated. Final. We're discovering new food...
