Poetry is Everywhere - Just Look

Are You Reading Me? Thursday, May 07, 2015. It's such an endless hassle. To be a voiceless vassal. Within a system skewed to dominate. You're just another number. They're eager to encumber. With the less-than-liberating weight. Of chains that keep you docile. In service to a fossil. The foul and unforgiving fascist state. Wow that was a good poem i loved it. Hi erie, thank you so much, Im feeling very anti-establishment at the moment. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A - Z 2015. The key to this broken...

Are You Reading Me? Friday, May 08, 2015. I'm breaking every level of control. And freeing up my body, mind and soul. I'm broker than I've ever been before. But honestly, I've never felt worth more. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A - Z 2015. All I could ask of tomorrow is to spend my last day with you to slip the assailment of sorrow if just for a moment or two to borrow my brea. I bathe in the wrath of a withering star as a hammer confers with concrete, ignoring the hardhats that labor to jar me fr...

Are You Reading Me? Saturday, May 16, 2015. A pool of light. Not hard to do. Who died for you. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A - Z 2015. All I could ask of tomorrow is to spend my last day with you to slip the assailment of sorrow if just for a moment or two to borrow my brea. Uproarious assaults on uncontested faults do little to dissuade jaded winks as characters display internal dismay which once past the colon . Confounded by the prideful scam sometimes I wonder if I am and then the days of col...

Are You Reading Me? Thursday, October 07, 2010. The sandstorm viciously slashed. With every choking whirl. Just like a howling rabid beast unchained,. The air around the Dark One flashed. And he took the startled girl. To a nearby cave that he secretly maintained. She faced him as a lioness. Content to slowly pace. Until she had a chance to flee this cage. He masked his own uneasiness. When staring at her face. The desert seemed much cooler than her rage. She said, her voice on edge. Myth like tale,.

Are You Reading Me? Thursday, May 14, 2015. No one wants to hear the truth. Because it's such a bummer. As they indoctrinate the youth. And teach them to be dumber. The brightest pupils dimmer. Through pointlessness and pill. Until there is no glimmer. Of purpose or free will. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A - Z 2015. All I could ask of tomorrow is to spend my last day with you to slip the assailment of sorrow if just for a moment or two to borrow my brea. I bathe in the wrath of a withering star a...

hfurness: Poetry and Comments: September 2008
http://hfurness.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Hfurness: Poetry and Comments. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. I had drifted away from the green and lush river district. Wandering around on the savannas. I became as parched and the dry, late summer, thrice-browned grasses. My tongue, so dry and swollen, stuck to the roof of my mouth. Desiccated lips drawn together and fused. As if my teeth were wired shut. Even my eyes became so moistureless that the lids fused together. I traveled on only feeling the heat of the sun. The deep base profundo of the earth.

Hfurness: Poetry and Comments. Friday, October 24, 2008. An Ancient Tale #135 (part 3). It had been rainy and lonely those first few nights. With only some cold grains to eat. Chasing him out with stones. Sending him out of the walls into the wilderness. Bidding him to never return. Driven out like that first couple from their maternal grounds. Uris felt that the people had stolen the fire from him. He had stayed angry. On the fourth sunrise as his wounds healed,. With the water from his skin. Uris knew ...

Hfurness: Poetry and Comments. Friday, October 17, 2008. An Ancient Tale #135 (part 1). The first time the men took me into the circle of fire and. I heard the full tale of the hero, the Gil. I was 48 seasons or 12 anos. Smooth faced and just beginning to learn the hunt. The full gray beards sat closest to the red leaping flames. And told about time before history. The circle of fire was the night time circle of time. The straight tall polls arraigned to time the seasons. To hold it all together. His bea...

Hfurness: Poetry and Comments. Tuesday, October 14, 2008. Eduard came night after night. And sat at his table to take in a view. Those bangs, the straight nose, the hour glass. And waited for her to sigh. But it was only that green liquor to take him away. But could not forget that down-ward gaze. Her painted face couldn't hide her beauty. The milk-maid nee' bar-maid. And that small mouth. That he could only guess would taste of. The only way to capture her for himself would. Be to put her on canvas.

Hfurness: Poetry and Comments. Monday, November 3, 2008. An Ancient Tale #135 (part 4). Weasels and jackals were active tonight. Zontan and Uris could see the distant glow of the fire circle. Three full moon’s from tonight would be the winter’s end. A time for both putting the year’s dead to eternal rest. And when the Mother’s would select mates for the hunters. And farmers, toolmakers, priests, and others of each settlement of the People. The Mothers determine who we are; the Fathers what. Horth, a son ...

Hfurness: Poetry and Comments. Friday, November 30, 2007. Dullness sat behind those eyes. Where once there was a shine of delight in life. Rage rose behind the pitch in that voice. Hands were no longer the tapered fingers of a guitar player. But balled up fists. Black colors where once there had been rainbows. I would have left long ago. Flight or fight had been beaten out of me. The certainty of a hunt. A rabbit going to ground. The slaps, and punches, and pushes. Just always short of breaks. Rolls out ...

Hfurness: Poetry and Comments. Friday, November 7, 2008. An Ancient Tale #135 (part 5). Old Horth leaned heavily on his talking staff. Walking with the weight of years and worry. His 47 anos have not been kind to him, but he stays in good spirit. And now with the coming of the winter circle welcoming God’s gift. The return of the Sun cycle. Placing the twelf totem, the massive pillar on its way. With the markings from the water carriers, Zethines. Would gather on the plane of the ancestors. Horth fingere...

Hfurness: Poetry and Comments. Tuesday, April 15, 2008. I’ve walked among the broken and handed out biscuits. As I’ve wondered down the streets of the town. From block to block and slow side street to busy corner. Greeting your eyes with a kind word or directions, if I knew. Them or you cared to hear. My whispered wishes riding the winds reaching your ears. 8220;Lift up your heads and nod to one another”. I shook hands or waved to those of you that I knew. Or wished to know me. I leave those to you.
Time for a Poem: April 2013
http://isabelletry.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html
Time for a Poem. I've been writing poetry since my first regeneration. Feel free to comment on how good or bad you think it is. Some of it is speed poetry which I never used to be able to do and some of you will say I still can't. So feel free to be fair.but always be kind! Thursday, April 11, 2013. Here's the Pleiades variation on Movement. Stranded sky, concave glass. Spreading light on blue lake. Sloth field, lazy summer. Setting on empty path. Silly bear, laughing flame. Sitting and Standing Stone.

Are You Reading Me? Saturday, February 17, 2018. Sausage is just jumbled bits. A glaring lack of glitz. But if the casing fits. Perhaps you can somehow regain. An outlook through the pane. Exhibiting much less disdain. Links to this post. Sunday, February 11, 2018. Links to this post. Monday, February 05, 2018. This is the last year you can claim. A solitary digit by your name. So make sure you enjoy it my friend. For soon the bliss of youth will end. And though our lot is far from set. Links to this post.

Politics For Average People. Debate Winner: Obama or McCain? I admitted when I thought Palin had lost her debate, but I think McCain won this one. McCain may have started slow, because everyone wants to blame the Republicans when something goes wrong with the economy. You know, the real government body that is able to pass regulations and make laws is Congress. Hasn’t this body been majority Democratic since 2006? Shouldn’t over 2 years be enough time to fix things? October 7, 2008 at 10:00 pm. Mae execu...
