Friday, October 24, 2014. Cabin building part 70. Im not sure how I made time between everything else I had to do but I decided since we had the backhoe we might as well put in my grey water septic system. Finished, well mostly finished, I will end up painting the pipe. no more hauling water for me! It is five feet deep (just enough for a comfy bed, custom book shelve and some storage). im not sure balancing on a four inch wide beam is the best idea, but i needed to take a load off. Wednesday, August 21, 2013. Cabin building part 65. A few more project started, needed to work on the soffits I got a good jump on them, have the back and both sides done, just need to do the front. Dad was available to help me build my ladder FINALLY for my loft. we have come up with many different styles and designs but ended up going with the most simple of them, thanks to Jessie bob who thought of taking it all the way to the ceiling. Thursday, March 28, 2013. Cabin building part 35. Im tired of looking at this beautiful blue insulation (lol) but worried about putting it by myself, knowing i will have a very good neck kink by the end of it. I borrowed a 12 foot ladder from the dixons, THANK YOU so much could not have done it with out it. and off i went, it took me a bit to get into the groove of it, but once i got going i got a good system down. i must have climbed up and down this ladder 500 times this day. I love the look of it!

Thought I would just add a few pictures of the cabin looking all nice tucked into the woods. my dream of building a cabin in the woods have become a reality. I would say im about 95% done and yes I have met my goal to build it for under 2000.00 im currently at 1832.64. Cabin building part 65. Monday, May 13, 2013. Cabin building part 44. Time to build my "out house" well at least the "thrown" part of it. This is the location of the the thrown, but it will have a covered roof, three walls but still open to see the beautiful hillside view. Thursday, January 24, 2013. Cabin building part 24. Blake and cj and i all took our turns drilling out the holes to run the wires through. I put up the electrical boxes.
