My Escape From Retail: Dear Mrs. Retail Manager.
http://myescapefromretail.blogspot.com/2011/06/dear-mrs-retail-manager.html
My Escape From Retail. A former retail manager's road of recovery. Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Dear Mrs. Retail Manager. Why do you suck so much at blogging? Why because I am actually starting a business and it's sucking all of my time away from me. This last week I have spend all of my free time in a fabric shop or in front of my sewing machine! I think I'm going to go to sleep now. *YAWN*. Don't judge. I just can't do something everyday for a year. I failed. Posted by Kim Heiser. View my complete profile.

Apparently, I know nothing but retail. and for that reason I have decided that I am going to start a business. Biggest problem at this stage of the game? My Business Partner is in Hawaii. So, where does that leave me? I am finishing up THREE quilts as well. What is wrong with me? Did I mention that I was sleepy? Like really really really sleepy?

My Escape From Retail: About Me
http://myescapefromretail.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html
My Escape From Retail. A former retail manager's road of recovery. Fun Facts About Me:. I worked in retail for almost 10 years. Of that time I was in management. I took a 50% pay cut when I left Retail (. I LOVE exclamation marks, and. Frequently when I "edit" my blog posts for "content" I just delete a bunch of exclamation marks and put periods in their place. I started this blog and let it sit for almost TWO months before posting anything! I'm leaving that one.). I love Pajamas. I dislike Jeans.

My Escape From Retail: Taking care of SELF.
http://myescapefromretail.blogspot.com/2011/06/taking-care-of-self.html
My Escape From Retail. A former retail manager's road of recovery. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Taking care of SELF. I have decided that it is time for me to start a routine that is focused around myself. Now, I totally understand how self centered that seems, and I promise you that I am not getting all wild and insane. I promise that my Facebook page does not contain an album of nothing but shots of me from one specific and ultra-flattering angle. I'm NOT that person. I promise you. Oh my goodness, right?

My Escape From Retail. A former retail manager's road of recovery. Thursday, March 20, 2014. Oh Sh*t. I'm 31. I've been thinking a lot about the time between 30 and 31. Me: Let's get motivated! Body: Oh you wanna run today? Here is some sciatica pain for that nonsense you were spewing about running. 2 Never settle in love. I've t...

My Escape From Retail: February 2011
http://myescapefromretail.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
My Escape From Retail. A former retail manager's road of recovery. Monday, February 28, 2011. Success is measured in. There is no greater gauge of worth than the all mighty dollar. At least that is what I have been told for the last 10 years. I don't buy it anymore. Don't get me wrong, I do believe that there is a correct way to merchandise a store. With the right layout you can take a crappy store and "turn it around" in sales. BUT. More Work = More Pay, right? Nope, more volume. Posted by Kim Heiser.
