A View from a Backpack. The only way to travel – Xerxes II. India: March 2013 – June 2013. The India tourism department market their country as ‘Incredible India’. I think they might be on to something there, though they probably don’t quite appreciate the additional irony in the slogan that a lot of travellers do. I spent three months travelling around India with my friend Ronan. From the middle to the south, the south to the middle, the middle to the north, and the north back down to the northern middle.
