A View from the Boat. Definition of the Training Bands by Heart Rate. What it is good for. Utilization 2. Light aerobic, low intensity work. Sustainable and fat burning. Relaxed. Able to carry on a conversation. Utilization 1. Heavy aerobic work using more oxygen. Higher level of cardiovascular fitness. Working. Feel warmer. Heart rate and respiration up. May sweat. Anaerobic Threshold. Harder work. On the aerobic limit. Pushing into anaerobic area. Stressed. Panting. Sweating freely.

A View from the Boat. Body and Weight Circuits. 45sec on/15sec off: four times through to start training then after a few weeks 50 on/10 off. On hands and knees; alternate lifting opposing arm and leg. Standing, squat down and touch floor, jump straight up. Left 15sec, center 15sec, right 15sec stay up the whole time. Sit against wall, thighs parallel to floor. On back, back FLAT on floor, cycling motion with legs-full extension. Standing/squat hands on floor/kick legs out/kick back/jump up.

MP = max. power. 9 - 12 exercises. 4 - 5 exercises. Total rp = 200 – 800 rp. Total rp = 1200- 1600 rp. Total rp = 320- 360 rp. Total rp = 360 rp. We had our LookIn on Tuesday the 22nd–that’s where the public is invited in to get a “look in” to our rehearsal process.
