A View Through My Window. Miscellaneous slices of the ever-changing life and goals of a 50-ish girl with a few blurry dreams. Saturday, May 18, 2013. I AM AN INTROVERT! For YEARS.probably most of my life.I have thought something was wrong with me. I have been told by well-meaning friends and family that I was depressed. I have been accused of being snobby, lonely, anti-social, lazy etc. I have had more than one friend stamp a foot and say "All you ever want to do is sit at home! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

A View Through My Window. Miscellaneous slices of the ever-changing life and goals of a 50-ish girl with a few blurry dreams. Thursday, August 22, 2013. One post at a time. I feel like I should write one of those 'what I did on my summer vacation' essays. Well, I wasn't ON vacation, but my work schedule does afford me lots of free time. Lets start with the garden. I'm a little disappointed. In the late spring/early summer, we had some glorious plants! My inherited Wysteria bloomed for the very first time.

I knit off and on for 14 hours yesterday and into the wee hours of this morning. My goal was 47 grams, but I knit 70! My picture was taken near a sunny window and doesn't show the depths of color in this beautiful yarn. The pattern is Viajante by Martina Behm. Simple, yet beautiful! Thursday, February 6, 2014. Happy Birthday, Sweet Husband! Finished the...

A View Through My Window. Miscellaneous slices of the ever-changing life and goals of a 50-ish girl with a few blurry dreams. Saturday, January 5, 2013. Like a gazillion other people, ONE of my goals this year is to lose weight.just like it's been for the past 30 years. *sigh*. Maybe, but the up side is that I have become aware. Not only aware of what works and doesn't work, but how I FEEL when I'm short of fat, carbs or overloaded with sugar, etc. So what will I do? More 2013 goals coming up.
