Avochie has over the years played host to many house parties. The dining room can comfortably seat 16 (although at times has seated far more! Avochie Estate is made up of a thousand acres of farmland, woodland and pasture. The woodland comprises mature scots pine, spruce plantations and native broadleaf, as well as wide areas of natural regeneration. All is easily accessible to vehicles by road or tracks. The River Deveron flows just 50 feet from the back of the house. The Deveron ranks fifth in Scotland in terms of the number of fish caught.
