Fontage! the Blog: March 2008
http://fontage.blogspot.com/2008_03_01_archive.html
Sorting the universe's True Type Fonts. Thursday, March 20, 2008. What you find when you're not really looking. Looking for something totally not font related, I find this gem of a font from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. They couldn't find a font to do what they wanted, so some font geek in the MN DNR built one. And something that will definitely prove useful, a font of Euro symbols. Just Euro symbols, in quite a few different font designs, for all those old fonts built before Euros.

Fontage! the Blog: June 2008
http://fontage.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Sorting the universe's True Type Fonts. Wednesday, June 11, 2008. June has finally arrived. Or I have. My hobby is Fontage. My profession is website design. The downside to having clients is they expect me to do work for them. And they throw money at me to enforce it. So Fontage got a little delayed. (And so did the Daniel Designs website. I'm converting it to Joomla! And had to stop mid process to work on client stuff.). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The rest of the fonts. Avogadro's Number - My Other Blog.

Fontage! the Blog: December 2007
http://fontage.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Sorting the universe's True Type Fonts. Thursday, December 20, 2007. About half way thru 2007, I realized I was deleting all my brilliant, witty and/or memorable commentary every month. As each month's What's New went online, the previous month's commentary was lost. So, how to keep the brilliant, witty. *ahem* the commentary while not ending up with dozens and dozens of archived WhatsNew files. Enter the Blog. Duh. With the added bonus of getting. Fontage! the Blog: April 2008
http://fontage.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Sorting the universe's True Type Fonts. Tuesday, April 1, 2008. E Gary Gygax and Dungeons and Dragons. I learned D&D way back when, just when D&D got its own books, and wasn't simply fantasy rules at the back of Chainmail. When I heard that E. Gary Gygax had died, I thought I'd do a bit of D&D fonts, as a tribute. So I dug out a few runic fonts, and found a few hieroglyphs to go with. And then a few medieval fonts, which led to some renaissance scripts, which led to a whole new set of categories.

Sorting the universe's True Type Fonts. Sunday, September 21, 2008. July, August, September - All At Once. It's been a long three months. Busy hasn't been the word for it. I'm a CERT volunteer with the LA Fire Department, and have been doing mad CERT things. I've been getting a lot of fan mail! Lots of people asking for various things. I have a partner now, who does the research thing. You can send font finding queries to research(at)fontage(dot)com. (Yeah, spam fighting is a nuisance! Called Metaphysica...

Fontage! the Blog: May 2008
http://fontage.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Sorting the universe's True Type Fonts. Thursday, May 1, 2008. Gaming fonts; African fonts. In the course of hunting up fonts for last month's D&D extraveganza (or the Fontage approximation), I found Cumberland Fontworks. They've got some cool fonts for gaming. And in the course of meandering around the web, I found a company that specializes in Maps of Africa. They've got some cool Afrika style fonts. That, the day job. And a nasty case of bronchitis, pretty much took up April. Again, thanks, Jonathan.
