Friday, February 25, 2011. Why, I have to ask. Why do we still have such emphasis on Affirmative Action? Well, I know why, but really, is it necessary? Do we still need quotas and numbers? Are we still so archaic in our selection process that we would discount someone based on race or gender? Just totally reject them based on circumstances they can't control? WAIT isn't that what Affirmative Action is doing? Doesn't Affirmative Action hiring practices and QUOTAS automatically eliminate non-minorities?
