A kaleidoscope of my world. July 11, 2015. I’m 18. Hanging out after school with 2 of my close friends. We had the habit of hiking and rambling around Woodlands Jetty (now known as Woodlands Water Front). I sprang out of that field and ran all the way home like the hounds of hell were after me. This question has been bandied amongst us these past few months since my uncle (mom’s elder brother) was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Family is the people who wipe away your tears. Even the invincible ones. Family is the people who hug you and say hi and goodbye. Family is the people who readily raise a glass to toast your success even if they secretly hate your guts.
