Dorthu Games Development Blog: Gone Mobile
http://dorthugamesdev.blogspot.com/2011/09/gone-mobile.html
16 September, 2011. I've finally upgraded myself to the 21st Century of Telephony with a Droid 3, my pick as the most desirable android-based phone/pocket-sized computer-from-five-years-ago. As it happens, I'm going to be doing some mobile work now, again. I guess I've done a lot of mobile work so far, and honestly I've enjoyed it, so why not? March 7, 2013 at 12:16 AM. 15 July, 2015. With the availability of UT4 and its extremely nice editor, I'm happy to announce OddMods returning to the scene with our first map for UT4 - BlockFort64. BlockFort64 is, of course, a port of the BlockFort map from Mario Kart 64. The original project is here. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Awe Games Official Site. View my complete profile.

Dorthu Games Development Blog: October 2010

28 October, 2010. I've been working with VG Ware Tech. I'm considering applying a similar concept to the Warhammer Army Organizer. I can easily make it Facebook-enabled, and I can also use their Javascript API to let you post and share lists through Facebook, which could be useful since most hobby shops I know of now use Facebook to announce events and the like. In addition, I'm considering altering my concept for a profile system to make the entire application on the web. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

20 July, 2010. Warhammer Army Organizer 2.0. I've decided to remake my old Warhammer Army Organized program, originally written in Java back in 2005. The old program ran exclusively in the command prompt, and only worked on Windows. The new version will have a full user interface as well as the ability to run on OS X. For those of you not familiar with Warhammer, it's a tabletop war game produced by Games Workshop, and one of my very fond hobbies. Labels: Warhammer Army Organizer. Awe Games Official Site.

Dorthu Games Development Blog: &Cats on Jupiter
http://dorthugamesdev.blogspot.com/2013/07/on-jupiter.html
06 July, 2013. So, sideprojects. It's been a while. I got my Ouya. The other week, and I was already looking into projects for it. The Ouya is great because it's easy to develop for; it's Android! It's not super powerful, it's not super cutting-edge, but it is. Super fun. And it works great with the AndEngine. To get up to speed. So far? Got a cat walking around. Not much, but I've only put a few hours into it. The development Ouya Tile. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Awe Games Official Site.

26 December, 2010. My job title is Associate Software Engineer. In six months, it'll be Software Engineer. Pretty sweet, right? In other news, Merry Christmas! Which is a C# .NET implementation of the Talk to OsCar protocol (TOC), seeing as I won't need all the features of the full OSCAR protocol anyway. Keep an eye out for it! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Dorthu Games Development Blog: Ice Tank update!
http://dorthugamesdev.blogspot.com/2013/09/ice-tank-update.html
28 September, 2013. Finally had a minute to sit down with this project again, and we've got a controllable player, collisions, a moving camera and a new level format! Up next: level editor, because the new format used 4-bit sequences for values, and that makes manual creation require bit shifts. Picture is of level data (with a huge contrast boost) and the level in-game. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Awe Games Official Site. View my complete profile.
