Friday, April 18, 2014. Why is it Good Friday? Some people wonder why today is called "Good" Friday? Why would the day that Jesus died be called good? It's good because if Jesus didn't die He wouldn't be able to resurrect on Easter! If He didn't resurrect our Faith would be in a dead God. PRAISE JESUS HE IS RISEN! Our faith is in a Living God! Today the youth group of Calvary Chapel Refugio took a hike to the cross on top of the mountain across town! It was a blessed time! Got so many pictures!

Thursday, November 21, 2013. Well, I haven't blogged in a long time. The time and ideas just don't seem to be there:) My title "All Is Changing" is because, well I'll just put it in list form. My aunt and uncle get back tomorrow. The bible college kids(my friends) leave tomorrow and Saturday. I have made some new American friends (The Rice Family). So Yeah, some stuff is changing:). In Peru I just can't seem to stay healthy:/. I just can't believe how time flies! I hope to come and visit my home real soon.

Monday, March 18, 2013. We arrived in Lima, Peru on March 8th where we stayed for 8 days. While in Lima, Stan submitted his residency application which included a trip to Interpol. In one month we will return to pick up his residency card and start the process for Jan. We are praising God that the whole. Procedure went smoothly. Four days after we arrived, our dog Mia flew in and the process to bring her into the country was MUCH harder. 10:30pm and after a very long , grueling process, we finally left.

Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Our hearts are rejoicing as we thank the Lord for the birth of our 6th grandchild. Arianna Betty Petrik was born on June 25 at 3:14 pm. She is "Itty Bitty" as her mommy and daddy call her (4.2 lbs and 17 inches). Please join us in prayer; that the Lord would have her grow and thrive. We are counting the weeks now until the Brower Family joins us. Six more weeks and they will arrive in Lima. Our household will grow to include 6 adults, 6 children and 3 dogs! Never a dull moment!
