Carpe Diem – World travel, culinary adventures and thoughts. June 20, 2013. Day Four – Gloucester to Gloucester. Dale awoke to dim light flooding the living room. ‘I thought Ah, it’s about 6;30’. I looked at my watch and realised it was 8:30 at which point I realised it was cloudy and threatening rain. I went in to snuggle my love. She awoke to say, ‘so we’re off? Grabbing our goodies we returned to the B&B where book reading, math papers, puppy playing and long naps were the order of the day.

Our stay at Ketapang Indah just out side of Banyuwangi had left us in a good mood for the day. The rooms are comfortable, the food is good, they had Bubur Ayam for breakfast (Dale’s favorite) and an old woman had flirted outrageously with Dale telling him he had a ‘strong body’ as she checked him out. So we started our ride back into East Java in high spirits. March 18, 2012 at 11:03.
