A Day in the Life…. The things I miss and don’t…. February 24, 2010 at 10:16 pm ( Thoughts.both random and necessary. The things I miss about Austin today. Taco Deli Breakfast tacos….mmmmm green sauce. Changos (specifically the sauce and their fish tacos). Z-Tejas (catfish beniets with jalapeno tartar sauce and their margarittas! Cool trails by our house. Kerby Lane’s Pumpkin Pancakes. HUTS – Fat’s Domino Burger and a Lone Star Beer. Things I do not miss. UT getting shoved down my throat.

A Day in the Life…. Road trip to Austin…. April 21, 2010 at 6:56 pm ( Trips. This past weekend, Cody and I finally got back to Austin. We hadn’t been there since we left last May. It was good to see friends and eat at some good places we had missed! We also got to go to a beautiful wedding, Liz and Matt’s! It was too much fun tearing up the dancefloor and having drinks with good friends. I also got to see the second phase of the Domain that has just opened. It was very cool! Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

A Day in the Life…. Global warming….and cookies. March 21, 2010 at 12:23 am ( Around the House. Thoughts.both random and necessary. So its March 20th, yesterday the sun was shining. Our seeds in our garden were in full “sprout” mode and it was absolutely beautiful. Today, nasty, rainy, snowy/sleet crap. Our poor garden. We did cover it, hoping to salavage some of the vegetables. A Day in the Life…. Replacing old and building new. March 11, 2010 at 2:31 pm ( Around the House. Cody and I have done quite a few things around the house lately. We have torn out the deck in the backyard. I won’t show pictures of that because right now, it’s not pretty! This table supposedly was my dad’s grandmothers (my great-great grandmothers). It was not in the best shape so Cody was able to refinish it and put it together better than it was before so that it is now less wobbly.
