Under the Tuscan Sun. 47; Under the Tuscan Sun. March 31, 2014. I’m amazed at how many people haven’t actually heard of this movie. In case you can’t tell by the fact that I’m writing a piece about it – it’s one of my all time faves! The 2003 film is based on a 1996 memoir of the same name by Frances Mayes. To think there are people who actually believe it’s the ‘right thing to do’ to kill sharks for human safety blows my mind! Every time you swim in the ocean you are taking a risk. Why won’t people accept this responsibility? How is it ok to punish sharks for behaving the way nature intended? How would you like to be killed for simply going about your day?
