On this day one year ago we discovered newly born pups in the shell of an abandoned car at the sanayi. There were 12 in the litter but only 7 survived. We fed the mum, and tried to make them as comfortable as possible with blankets and by covering the car with heavy duty plastic. They were so tiny and we never imagined they would grow so big. Beria, who feeds and cares for countless dogs in Gokova and the surrounding areas, saw that she had mange and treated her for this, thanks to a donation from one of my supporters, Christine. It also appears that she was run over and was seen with a bleeding nose but she then disappeared again. All her costs will be covered. 19 May 2015 at 20:17.
