The other main role staff have is working with children who visit one of the centres where besides a morning of education and social interaction the children receive physiotherapy and a cooked meal. To date Ayries has provided 138 sets of mobility equipment, including supportive seat wheelchairs, 3 wheelers, adapted tricycles and different kinds of callipers and frames. People Living with HIV / AIDS (PLHA). The aims of the Ayries PLHA programme are to provide educational support, nutrition and counselling for people living in families affected by HIV/AIDS, working in partnership with other organisations such as the State Government and Positive Peoples. There are approximately 50 PLHA families in the area where Ayries works. Access to help and treatment. The PLHA nutrition programme. Making feasible the fostering of orphaned children by grandparents or aunts/uncles.
