So I'm finally getting around to posting pictures of the finished painting I did for mom. It's ben done for about two months now, but it took me a while to deliver it. I was planning on surprising her with it on thanksgiving, but the dang thing wouldn't fit into my car! So there I was taking a two hour trip with an empty car early Thanksgiving morning, not fun time.

I decided I wanted to do it over again in oil paint, and incorporate the text more with the image. The first go around I had done the whole thing on the computer because of the text, and still I just wasn't very satisfied with how it came out. But who can hand letter type anymore? In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

During my internship, Robert perscribed that I should spend some time focusing on our hope in the resurrection to combat some things that were coming up in my heart.
