The eleven primary steps in the B4CC process are outlined below. Surgeon and clinical care team identify patient candidate. Surgeon obtains patient consent/directive for introduction into the B4CC system. Surgeon and care team harvest tumor tissue and peripheral blood. Tumor tissue is processed by hospital pathologist for routine staging and diagnostic information. Tumor tissue is safely transferred to B4CC’s bioprocessing/biobanking partner. Biobank stores excess patient samples for future multiple uses.
