And then came the shot. A blog about shooting in the street. Not maniacal murder, but pictures. Sunday, 1 March 2009. My mate Eamon Lane and Carlo Nicora have shot Thousand Portraits. In one weekend they shot 1000 people in London. This gives a very short term description (everybody there in one slice of time) of what you can find there. Reminds me of that Borges short story, On Exactitude in Science. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 2point8 - by Michael David Murphy. Alec Soth - blog.

And then came the shot. A blog about shooting in the street. Not maniacal murder, but pictures. Saturday, 28 November 2009. Good times are rolling for the street. It looks like as of late lots of momentum on street photography are actually turning into products, physical objects, things you can see and find around. Up to a point this comes from the pressure and drive generated online, and how the net has allowed the few distant practitioners to group together. Guide to event and street photography. I...

And then came the shot. A blog about shooting in the street. Not maniacal murder, but pictures. Friday, 26 March 2010. Donations - Third Floor Gallery. Securing public funding seems tough, most seem to require that we survive on our own for a period of time, so now we are asking for donations at the gallery. Currently it goes to the Print Stravaganza account with a line saying that it is for the Third Floor Gallery. Don't worry, everything will go where it has to be. Links to this post. Alec Soth - blog.

And then came the shot. A blog about shooting in the street. Not maniacal murder, but pictures. Sunday, 17 January 2010. We've been working for over a week on the Third Floor Gallery. It's a very pleasant place to hang around. Views over the bay and to Penarth, being close to the Millenium Centre, more of a seafront feel to it. Being up there it has a strange 'underground' feeling. Amazingly enough, our first show is Love UK by Peter Dench. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Alec Soth - blog.
