Wednesday, November 26, 2014. A walk around Suan Rot Fai this morning produced a few notable birds including a Peregrine. Three Pale-legged/Sakhalin Leaf Warblers. Two Grey-headed Canary Flycatchers. And two species of Bittern. On the same pool - a juv Cinnamon. And two adult male Yellows. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. The long drive from Glasgow airport to my family home in Cambridgeshire was broken with a few hours spent at Spurn to see a juv Masked Shrike. Only Britain's third record). The bird showed well, hunting along a hedgerow filled with ripe haws, though it was a little distant for the camera. I also had a bit of time to watch a Jack Snipe.
