While the SO and I were better off than a lot of folks, we still spent 3/4 of the year stressed about the future – there were times when we didn’t think we would make through. But instead of dwelling on the negative, I thought I’d end 2011 on some of the positives that happened. With lots of pictures! I ran my first 5K this year.

One of the patterns is for a sock with a "smart new look" and here it is in KnitPicks sock garden (geranium). It's basically a tube sock in k4 p4 ribbing that is offset every four rows.
