A little unsure at first, but asked to see more fireworks 10 times a day for weeks. It never gets old. Stamp painting using apples picked from our trees. The artist at work. Burke Lake train ride. Our night time routine now includes saying Night Night to doggie, cars, shoes, moon, juice, airplane or whatever else pops into his head. Wednesday, October 22, 2008. GREAT (Barrier Reef) Day! This was what I had been waiting for all trip. A chance to swim among the largest living organism on the planet! Unfortunately, the weather wasn't the best. We woke up to gray skies and a bit of drizzle. But it wasn't a big deal; we boarded our huge Ocean Spirit cruise vessel anyway and got underway. Monday, August 27, 2012. The final week of summer is in the books. Lily and Jack finished a busy week of playing and pool time. After the beach, the rest of the week went by quickly. On Friday, Lily went to visit her new school and met her new teacher. She is very excited about this school year and her new school. Tuesday, December 18, 2012. We had a nice week celebrating Hanukah - thanks to Donna and Stephen for sending presents to open every night! Wednesday, July 31, 2013. We are at the halfway point of a very busy summer. The goal is to get back to regular posting once we finish up with the summer. Since we last reported in, camp season has come and gone and swim season has wrapped up. We had great visits with family and spent a lot of time at our neighborhood pool meeting new people and making great friends. Enjoying crabs - and picking them all by herself - on father's day.
