Monday, September 22, 2014. Healthy = hard and unhealthy = easy. Why does it have to be this way? Why can't it be easy to stay healthy and hard to be unhealthy? Finding healthy (tasty) recipes has been challenging, but little by little I am building a new set of "go-to" recipes that are delicious! Did I mention I haven't had butter in over 2 weeks? Everything is better with butter though. Oh, well.life goes on:-). Joel went to the doc the other day and we are waiting on results to confirm that pancreatit...

Thursday, June 21, 2012. Pepes and Mitos - Deep Ellum - TASTY! Stacey and I ventured out to another Diners Drive-Ins and Dives places in Dallas. This time is was Pepes and Mitos in Deep Ellum. We both got what was featured on the show. Albandiga Soup and the Tacos Nortenos. It was SOOO GOOD! I have also heard the shrimp enchiladas are to die for. I will be going back for sure! Friday, June 27, 2014. Best Burgers in Town! Joel and I are foodies.and we LOVE trying new places until we find the best of all different foods! Burgers are one of our favorite things to eat. We have tried many places in and close to the town we live in and hadn't found a place that really swept us off our feet. Saturday, April 14, 2012. Joel and I are doing "date night" again. After going through some ups and downs.and now being back on track, we realize how important "date nights" are. This one actually ended up more like a "date weekend".but hey, whatever works right? We had an awesome time! Fort Worth Food Park: I heard about this place on the radio and thought it looked pretty cool so we decided to check it out. The weather was PERFECT! Really cool place.will be back for sure! On our way to Fort Worth!

Friday, March 8, 2013. Time for a change.again:-). I have slipped back into my old habits once again:-( I must pick my feet up and keep on trucking! I can't let it get me down.we all fall and must get back up again more than once in life right? I am going to attempt to start making changes next week! I think Spring Break is a perfect time to get going:-) The weather is getting nicer.so I can get out in the yard and do something things.clean out closets.put up winter clothes.etc:-). I have so many feelings running through my head.but the strongest feeling is excitement! I am leaving work to go to school full time.
