They keep track of their days in 'number of sleeps', so today, we have. 13 sleeps until Aunt Cat comes to visit. 14 sleeps until Santa comes. 20 sleeps until Uncle Jon and Maggie's wedding. We haven't really seen any rainy days, but the truth is we've been stockpiling the toilet paper rolls for this craft since Christmas when we got a cool art project book from Santa. So, Sunday, we tackled the project and the girls had a blast! Toilet paper rolls and kitchen paper towel rolls. 1 cardboard box (we used large granola bar box/ a rectangular kleenex box would work too). Paint all the pieces.

Tuesday, February 21, 2012. This wasn't our first rodeo,. Addy and Lilly had done this. But this time it was different. It was UNCLE Jon's. Wedding. It was NEW YEAR'S EVE. It involved traveling to another state. There were other little people involved. We were the role models? I really wondered what we had gotten ourselves into. The pictures are wonderful, some mine, some the professional photog. It will be tough to decide which to frame! Cat, Maggie and I. Cat, Jon and I. They've never met a stranger.

Monday, October 24, 2011. Addy and Lilly Take Columbus. When Grandpa Ian called and invited us all to go on a business trip to Columbus (OH) with him, we didn't hesitate- a fun family outing with grandparents- yes please! The girls love staying in a hotel and swimming in the hotel pool. We visited the Center of Science and Industry (COSI),. Adding another museum stamp to their passports. We took them out for one of their first "fine" dining experiences and they did great! We hit up Easton shopping center.

Tuesday, July 17, 2012. Our summer has been filled with Vacation Bible School, Back to Nature Camp, "Let's Get Messy Camp" and lots of swimming! The girls love the water-pool, lake, sprinklers, splash parks, etc., they can't seem to get enough. We've stayed enrolled in swim lessons through the summer and they have exceeded my expectations! Enjoy pictures below from our lake trip with Aunt Cat, Aunt Maggie and Uncle Jon! Thanks for making the trip Aunt Cat- we miss you already! My boys and their sports!
