November 17, 2014. My clients were no longer enjoying being in their garden, feeling that it had become rather harsh and uninviting. The brief was, then, to design a space that was more inviting and far softer in appearance, as well as being easy to maintain. The year ahead, 2015. Jan 01, 2015. Green Bee Gardening » Contemporary Family Garden

September 29, 2014. The brief for this project was to create a modern, contemporary-style garden that included a water feature, large patio, raised vegetable beds and a play area. The plot was backed by a large beech hedge, which the owners wanted to have removed and replaced by fencing. The existing patio around the conservatory was removed and the granite paving continued around the house where the raised sleeper beds were built, surrounded by slate chippings. The year ahead, 2015. The year ahead, 2015…. January 01, 2015. I’d like to start by saying a big thank you to those people I was lucky enough to do work for this year. Once again, all those I met were genually friendly, lovely people and I enjoyed meeting you all – I’m very lucky to be able to do this job and to be asked to design and build some excellent gardens. We continue to grow and that is only down to the wonderful people we are continuing to meet and work for, so once again a huge thank you from us. Press release from...

We would like to thank The London Orchard Project recently featured on BBC One’s Inside Out London – for giving us a newly cultivated Apple tree that we will be planting in a local Children’s Nursery in December. Green Bee Gardening » Classic Front Garden
http://www.greenbeegardening.com/portfolio/classic-front-garden
September 17, 2014. Faced with an overgrown and unmanageable front garden, my clients wanted to simplify the space, but do so with a thoughtful eye. The brief included a border around the front, so I opted for heather as part of the design as it is both easy to maintain and in keeping with the surrounding gardens and public heathland. The planting of bamboo and virburnam in the front added a little form along with texture in the path coming from grey and grey/brown sandstone, creating a two-tone walkway.
