Kyle & Rebecca: April 2014
http://monsoneverafter.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 9, 2014. Sunshine, Blessed Sunshine! Boy have we been waiting for this. Temperatures reaching the 70's, and warm sunshine all day long. Even the Western winds decided to pipe down for a few days so we could come out of hibernation! It has been a fantastic three days, and things are looking good through the end of the week! Everyone in this house needed a little sunshine, a little outdoor exercise and neighborly friendship. The winter of '13-14 was mean, and we are ready to forget it!

Kyle & Rebecca: January 2013

Tuesday, January 8, 2013. I've been wanting to get family photos since Kate was born. Our last photos are just the three of us, and while I LOVE them, it felt odd to have Kate left out of the pictures! My cute cousin Janelle took our pictures, and captured some great moments for us! I especially love the photos of Hailey, such sass on a 3-year-old! Everyone cooperated pretty well, even in the cold and brisk Oregon weather! My family joined us near the end of our shoot to snap a few Carlson family photos!

Kyle & Rebecca: October 2013

Wednesday, October 23, 2013. My First Marathon - Kyle Monson. I began running in April, but the first two months were hardly marathon training months. I was only able to accumulate 34 miles, with a long run of 5.5 miles. Very pedestrian, but this slow start was all I could handle after a long winter of packing on the pounds. It was at that point that my confidence grew that I could not only complete a marathon, but RUN a marathon and enjoy it. MILES 0 - 5. MILES 5 - 13. MILES 13 - 21:. Hearing the finish...

Kyle & Rebecca: December 2012
http://monsoneverafter.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 30, 2012. To conclude our December family vacation, we all headed to Denver, Colorado to witness the marriage of Miles Scott Monson to Jenna Lee Woodward. It was snowy and bitter cold, but the Monsons always know how to have fun together! Karen, Miles, Aunt Ruth, Derek, Mikael and baby drew flew out with Kyle, myself, Hailey and Kate on Friday morning. We left for the airport at 4 am and had a decent flight with the kids. No huge meltdowns is considered a success! Kate and Drew: 6 mos.

Tuesday, October 2, 2012. Preparing for a Minnie Party. I love party-planning, and thinking about how I can plan activities that will make Hailey jump up and down with excitement, so it was fun to find ideas online and with some creative thinking on my part, but soon I got in over my head. I continued to add new games, decor, food, goody-bags and the like up until the night before her party! So here are some descriptive photos of our Minnie Party, which began with this cute invite. I loved this project&#...

Kyle & Rebecca: Kate is 18-months!

Wednesday, January 15, 2014. Kate Stats: 32 lbs/34.25 inches. Kate is turning into a funny little lady. In the past 3-months she has grown into a very communicative little girl, albeit without using words! She uses a lot of hand gestures, and points to an object and then to herself when she wants something. Its quite funny, but we do want her to start talking! She just grunts, points, whines and uses her expressions to communicate with all of us! Ironically, she is very musically talented already! She wi...
