Saturday, March 19, 2011. This is what fuzzy wuzzy Benbear thinks of getting his hair cut. Actually, he is just being a goof ball in that picture. He was very patient, there were no tears and, with the help of some good ol' Sesame Street episodes, he held relatively still. Now he looks younger and his ears look bigger. Sunday, March 13, 2011. Dylan is hanging out with Mom, Dad and his little brother for a few more days of his spring break. We are loving having him home! Dylan may be "uncertain about quantum mechanics", but he is quite certain that he is turning "21" in two short weeks. I think that Little Tykes needs to revise their age-appropriateness limit for this play equipment. We had a high of 68 degrees today! The men worked on some Lil' Blue Subaru preventative maintenance. He was cast as a psychiatrist, Dr. Lyman Sanderson, in the Hamilton Players production of "Harvey". He is having a blast! His stardom has become the theme of his birthday celebration. We will sing to him and give him his gift, and then celebrate him with applause at the theater as well. Happy Birthday, David! Wednesday, April 16, 2014.

Sunday, June 29, 2014. David is learning to play the piano. Benjamin is as clever as ever and growing like a weed. He is 43 inches tall and headed to Pre-K school this fall. We thinned out our little Aspen stand and found some cool mushrooms cropping up. Our little crop of Bitterroot plants bloomed, right on time, earlier this month. We bought some new Bitterroot plants to add to our crop. I also have 4 bags of seeds to plant this October (after the ants are done searching for them). A Long TIme Coming.

Tuesday, February 17, 2015. While talking about the changing seasons, Ben lamented that we never got to have a winter snowball fight. We had to do something about that! Careful what you wish for little man! Mom may not have very good aim, but she has unlimited snow because she knows where the paper recycle bin is! Energizer Bunny Ben quickly learned to stock pile his snow balls while I was up for a drink of water. This boy may only be 5 years old, but he is quite athletic! This kid is pure joy and energy!

When the crowd was asked to supply a $20 bill for a trick, David offered and Benjamin got selected to be the magician's assistant! This was no ordinary magician! This guy, Amazing Arthur, really was amazing! And he was HILARIOUS to boot! We are still marveling at his world-class magic tricks! We are also rubbing our cheeks from laughing so hard! Friday, September 26, 2014. Benjamin's First School Field Trip. Evergreen Kids Corner took a school field trip to Homestead Organic Farm. They watched the baby chickens get fed. They followed the big chickens, and the waddling ducks, around the apple orchard. They petted the nice farm dogs. The kids walked out to see the turkeys, and in rushed the goats! It was very exciting and the goats were happy to see everyone! Ben made friends with every goat who came his way. The kids helped harvest potatoes!
