July 04, 2012. Blake and I had a great 4th of July. We found a sneaky spot to watch fireworks and bought new silverware! But as we were going to sleep Blake could sense I was a little sad. After some coaxing, I eventually blurted out I was upset about not having baked a 4th of July treat and began to cry. I'm big into traditions and my family always bakes a fun treat on the holidays. I even had adorable USA sprinkles to use! Some people think its weird to cry over sprinkles but that's just who I am.

June 17, 2012. Blast from the past. While packing up some old clothes, I stumbled across my long lost wedding time capsule I made in Young Womens. We're talking 2002 here. This thing is a gem! Too bad I found it after I had planned everything for the wedding because this thing could have provided some serious inspiration. For example my 14 year old self would have loooooved pastel Easter inspired colors. Or perhaps a pink heart shaped cake if you please. Were those ever cool? I was such a good child.

July 02, 2012. The honeymooners are back! Our wedding day was perfect. Simply perfect. Beautiful weather, happy guests, yummy food and lots of love. The honeymoon was one for the books.
