JAD - Junior Althea and Dayo. Thursday, April 23, 2009. So, Althea has been complaining about not feeling JAD move, despite being 22 weeks already. Good thing we have dopplers at home to check JAD's heartbeat ourselves. A friend of mine (thanks Tanya) told us that she is probably feeling the baby move but she doesn't know what that is yet. Sure enough, all of a sudden this evening Althea goes "I think I feel JAD summersaulting". Now I can't wait to feel her moving too. Moms have all the luck :).

Its hard to believe, but this chunker you see in the picture is the same Jaden who just 2 weeks ago had a tube down her nose. Its amazing how quickly they grow and develop. From 4 and a half pounds to now 7 pounds. We really thank God for taking care of our precious child. August 30, 2009 at 6:46 AM. Thats a big weight gain! So glad shes doing so well! Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Fifteen Month Check Up (At Almost Sixteen Months Old! Although we couldn't get in until he was almost sixteen months old, his stats (corrected for the additional month of growing) are consistent with the "Bruiser" title he so often gets called by strangers! He weighed in at 29 pounds, which didn't seem like that much to me but was still in the 90th-95th percentile and measured 33.5 inches which puts him above the 95th percentile! When standing next to a couch or chair, he's able to let go and keep his balance briefly, but doesn't seem to grasp that if he'd lean into the object he wouldn't have to keep his balance the whole time. Unfortunately, what's been going on with us lately has primary been just trying to keep our heads above water! As soon as one cold has passed, it seems another cold starts up and all three of us bat it around for another 10 days and then we start all over again! In the midst of these mild illnesses (at least we don't seem to be getting fevers!

What is Baby Dayjournal? Baby Dayjournal is simply a web application to easily help you keep track of your baby/toddler's eating, sleeping and other events. The great thing about web applications is that you have access to it wherever and whenever an internet connection is available to you. Baby Dayjournal was created in March 2010 to help my wife and I keep track of our baby daughter's bottle feeding times and amounts and now, I would like to share this web application with others who might need it.
