Landon's given Korean name meant "a full fence" so we immediately felt a connection with this! Spiritual Connotation: Excellent Virtue. Friday, October 5, 2007. Sophie's 5 month Check Up arrived! Today we received her "Well Baby Check Up" from her pediatrician in Korea. She is now 16.4 pounds and 24 inches long! We are very proud (as teachers) that she got all 's in her fine motor skills! We hope to get some new photos soon so we can see how much she has changed. Our last photo was at 5 weeks old! So we will continue to wait and pray nothing is lost or misplaced among all these cities and we will hear that call very soon! Thanks for your continued prayers and support, we treasure them all! Sunday, May 23, 2010. Last week Wednesday, Landon had his required medical screening completed! This is one of the last steps needed to fly home! Now we are waiting to hear if he had his embassy appointment. This is the VERY last step! The foster mom will bring the medical exam paperwork, his visa approval paperwork and other documents to the Korean Embassy on a scheduled court date and get the approval needed to fly home! The end to this wait is so close! It has been almost 5 months since our referral.
