December 13, 2009. I’ve been amazed at the way Amelie has just settled into her new life without the slightest bit of distress. I question this amazement when I look back on this adoption in its entirety and see God’s hand in it all. What am I really amazed at? God’s grace, it truly is amazing. It is with great delight we are able to announce that Amelie officially became our daughter on 25 November and arrived home in Dubai 7 December! Friday, August 6, 2010. He is just getting over tonsillitis. We've experienced a wide range of illnesses during this first year. Everything from ear infections to strep throat to RSV to coxsacki virus. His immune system should be great by the time he is two!
