http://myawfulopenbite.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
My Awful Open Bite - The Road to Jaw Surgery. Thursday, September 20, 2012. 8 Weeks Post Op. Having said all that, this still was the most difficult thing that I have ever gone through.let's not take that away from surgery! I still struggle with puffiness, a little ache every now and then, difficulty chewing/eating, and the top of my mouth and gums are still 100% numb. I never said it's been fun. But I've moved into the acceptance phase and it feels pretty good. Really good actually. 1 The Jaw bra. h...

My Awful Open Bite - The Road to Jaw Surgery: February 2013
http://myawfulopenbite.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
My Awful Open Bite - The Road to Jaw Surgery. Tuesday, February 5, 2013. March 12th my braces will be coming off! The feeling is still working itself back to the roof of my mouth and when food touches that area it's just plain weird. The retainer helped to avoid that weirdness, but I am ready to try life without it. 3 Years Post Double ...

Kim's Jaw Surgery. A Jaw-Droppin' Journey. Day 59 – Speaking in Past Tense. April 29, 2014. It has been a good whole two months since my last update and I am nearly 4 months post-op! 3 months and 20 days to be exact, and I only know this because I used a day counting widget. Yes, I have come to the stage where I have stopped marking dates by how many days post-op I am. It’s a good place to be! Can’t wait for that to happen. Just a short update because I have some work to complete by tomorrow! I’ll ...

05 Nov 2013: First two weeks in braces | Double Jaw Surgery
https://nicolasjawsurgery.wordpress.com/2013/11/05/05-nov-2013-first-two-weeks-in-braces
On the NHS. This is my story. These are not my teeth. 05 Nov 2013: First two weeks in braces. My first two weeks with braces have flown by! My teeth are definitely still adjusting and there have been a couple of things I hadn’t quite planned for but the movement in my bottom teeth has already really surprised me. I have started to relax a little bit about the appearance as well – they’re on and they’re staying for quite some time so we might as well all get used to them. Pain, is tender teeth! With all t...
