Life with Baby Evan. Thursday, July 9, 2009. We take a walk. Yesterday we went on a walk around the block with Evan. It was our first time using his stroller. It was pretty hot out there. I was so sweaty that I had to take a shower after walking about 1/4 mile at 8:00 in the evening! I have a feeling Evan's next walk might be in the mall or other air conditioned place. Life with Baby Evan. Thursday, July 2, 2009. He had another wakeful marathon this morning- 2 1/2 hours! Maybe this means he's starting to get the hang of the whole night and day thing. Julie and Avery came over for a visit this afternoon. Avery was so excited to meet Evan! She was very good at holding him. Life with Baby Evan. Sunday, June 28, 2009. Sunday with Baby Evan. So we've spent a pretty lazy Sunday with Evan today. David's been watching "24" all day. Evan is asleep right now in his bassinet. He's been asleep for hours. I could barely wake him up for his 5 pm feeding. I'm hoping that all this sleep won't mean that I'm up all night with him. Evan loves his binky (pacifier). He's getting a lot better at keeping it in his mouth. That thing is a life-saver during his fussier moments.

He seemed to drift off into a state of profound peaceful bliss the moment we buckled him in. Thank you Ian! Friday, July 12, 2013. WOW time has flown by. I have tried to keep up with this blog to give updates at least once a month but it has been difficult! Evan is doing great and I really have noticed a change in his scar over the past few weeks. I look at pictures from April and May and it just appears to have really turned whiter and somewhat faded.
