We decided to be adventurous last weekend and take the bus to New York City from DC so we could meet up with John Patrick's Gaga and Grandpa and Aunts Becky and Suzanne. Daddy was home working hard to finish his doctoral dissertation and we figured NYC would be more fun that trying not to bug him at home!

She is getting so big; now weighing in at a strong 12 pounds 6 ounces and is 23 inches long! She is a happy, healthy little girl. She makes us smile and laugh everyday with her cute faces and smiles. She loves to have conversations; she is quite a talker! Wonder where she got that from? Here is our little monkey girl. From all our tummy time, Charlotte is really able to pick up her head.

At 16 months, she loves getting in the cabinets and into mischief. Relaxing at Grammy and Grandpa's. I want to be just like Grammy. Swimming is more fun in the nude. Scary- she is already into shoes. Charlotte's birthday party on May 30th was great. It was so wonderful to have family there to help celebrate and Steve, Lauren and Simon too! We continued with the pink and purple theme.
