He will again check my cervix, if I'm dilated he offered to strip my membranes and try to induce naturally. However he also may send me to the hospital to get a vaginal suppository to help soften my cervix. Then shortly after that, we will slowly start pitocin and get the ball rolling. Our IVF Adventure "Baby Jarvis 2015". 31 week L&D trip. Finally feeling some movement after being hooked up to the monitors. I had a cervical exam to test the fluid around my cervix to identify early labor signs. That test was called a FFN test.(fetal fibronectin) it's a special protein that hold your baby In the womb.
