Avery & Isla: August 2011
http://averyandisla.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 20, 2011. Labels: Avery 4 years. Sunday, August 7, 2011. A Winter Sunday in Brasilia. It turns out that "Wintertime" in Brazil isn't quite the same as in North America. The shadows may be long, but the sun is still waaaaarm, warm. It makes for some nice, water-bucket playtime. Little Shoe Diva insists on being fashion forward, even during otherwise "naked time.". And we Dancers in the family just can't contain ourselves. Labels: Avery 4 years. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). JULY 6, 2007.

Avery & Isla: September 2011
http://averyandisla.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 19, 2011. We give Daddy a run for his money when it comes to playtime. We like to be thrown in the air. Swung round and round. The question is, Will he be able to do this when there's. Tickling 'til we can hardly breathe! Isla has such a great time, she becomes really pouty when it's time to take a break. But, I try to make her happy again by chasing her around. There Smiles all around! Labels: Avery 4 years. Wednesday, September 7, 2011. Labels: Avery 4 years. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Sunday, October 16, 2011. Today, I am a year and a half old! That "1/2" makes a big difference, you know! Avery and I posed together to capture the day.for a few minutes. But, our camera timing was a tad off. Besides, I have other things in mind! Labels: Avery 4 years. Wednesday, October 12, 2011. Newest Member of the Family. No, it's not a baby (not yet, at least) - it's a bird! He's very calm and gentle, and doesn't even get too nervous when Isla squeals in delight at the sight of him. JULY 6, 2007.

Avery & Isla: July 2012
http://averyandisla.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 9, 2012. Friday, July 6 was my Fifth birthday. I fully expected major changes, like waking up having lost a tooth or something. Instead, I woke up to find that my newest character obsessions: the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, had visited my room, and decorated my door. They even left a card wishing me Happy Birthday! I thought my Birthday Pancake looked like an Aborigine. Then, we had a family (floor) Cake Picnic. The best kind, in my opinion. End Result: It feels good to be FIVE!

Saturday, April 21, 2012. Out and About in Brasilia. It's hard to believe that in a few short weeks, we'll be moving from Brasilia to Rio. We decided to take a little picture-taking outing to one of Brasilia's scenic points to help capture our time here in Brazil's capital city. Ready to head out. Islanever one to hide her opinions. Just being sweet girls. I'll admit, we turned quite a few heads. What was that you were saying about smiling, Mommy? Labels: Avery 4 years. Tuesday, April 17, 2012. Sunday mo...

Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Cozy Times with the Cousins. Oh, what fun it was to see my girlie cousins, Isabela and Sofia during our trip to Texas! A few days, it was even cool enough for us to cozy up to a fire! We were right there to welcome our NEWEST cousin, Oliver when he arrived! We already love this little guy so much, and can't wait to play with him when he gets a bit bigger. Labels: Avery 4 years. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). JULY 6, 2007. Avery & Isla: Isla's 1st Haircut
http://averyandisla.blogspot.com/2012/08/islas-1st-haircut.html
Tuesday, August 28, 2012. We've been putting it off for some time. Mommy and Daddy hated to take the scissors to my hair, something about not wanting to cut my "curls." But as my wiley locks could attest - it was time. Mommy caught me in a distracted moment - I didn't even know she had those pointy things near my neck! Overall, about two fingers worth trimmed. And now, much fewer tangles, and just prettier all around. There's even still a hint at.well, we'll just call it a wave. JULY 6, 2007.

The Who Dat, What Dat, Where Dat of my Beloved New Orleans. Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Hello my loves. Long time no post huh! Well, in the words of Frank Costanza, "I'm back BABY! This past week, I flew to Atlanta to visit family and friends and since I try. Atlanta actually has a flavor that may one day sway me to make it home. A cool and eclectic mix that longer taste like the same old vanilla. In the coming days I will be sharing pictures and a recommendation list of things to eat, do, and see. A CUP OF JO.

SweetOrleans70117: Atlanta day 4: Shopping at The Woodpecker

The Who Dat, What Dat, Where Dat of my Beloved New Orleans. Sunday, June 2, 2013. Atlanta day 4: Shopping at The Woodpecker. Saturday afternoon, I walked into a store and saw a past love. Seeing my once beloved brought back a rush of emotions. I could barely keep my composure and for a split sec, I almost burst out in song in true Mary J. Blige style (you know when Mary catches the beat with both arms),. Oooh you remind me, yeah,. Ou remind me of such sweet memories.". For the love of. What I love most a...

Sunday, February 26, 2012. Jumpin' on the bed. Thank goodness, no one fell off and broke their head! Labels: Avery 4 years. Friday, February 10, 2012. Isla's 1st Day of Preschool. This week was very eventful: I started pre-school! Avery has been going to school for as long as I can remember, and now, I can get in on the action, too! My first day, we took commemorative pictures before we left the house, and I was ready to go "bye bye.". Still, it was a little scary. Labels: Isla 21 months. JULY 6, 2007.
