My tree is set up, my girls wore their Christmas dresses for the first time this year, "O Holy Night" is playing on my Pandora list, hot chocolate is a nightly treat, there are little scraps of white paper all over the house from my snowflake making obsession, I get to wear my green and red scarf everyday this month, and we're already 6 days into our advent calender - I LOVE Christmas! Nathan Elisa Sarah Rachel. I don't know how I got so blessed, but both my girls LOVE broccoli. They steal pieces when I'm prepping it for dinner, they fight over it, sneak it out of the fright.they just can't get enough broccoli! Sarah eats sandwiches now! For those of you who don't know, Sarah has never liked sandwiches! Childhood is rough when you can't just pull out a PB&J while at the park. Recently I've introduced Sarah to Nutella chocolate and banana sandwiches - and she likes them!

Nathan Elisa Sarah Rachel. The weather is a littler warm this week and the snow has mostly melted, so we had to get out a play! Sarah and Rachel awed me with their amazing hopscotch abilities. Sarah jumped like a pro from one leg to two and back. They especially liked doing it at the same time and trying to catch each other. Here's some pictures I got of the fun. March 2, 2011 at 11:45 AM. Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Deep thoughts, sort of. The following things have gone through my mind today:. I hate it when I see a spider and I am naked. In the last week I have had 2 naked run ins with spiders while I am getting out of the shower. Being without clothes makes me feel vulnerable to the spider. Freaks me out. When I have clothes on I am a lot braver in the killing of the spider process. My two new nephews that I need to cuddle. My up coming dates with the sunshine and water. Happy!

This Memorial Day we realized Ephraim's great-great-great-great-great-Grandpa, David Garner, is buried an hour away from us in Garner Township, Iowa in the Garner Cemetery. Sunday, August 12, 2012. The Garners Hit the West Coast. Way back around Memorial Day we started our summer off with a bang by heading to California to visit my parents in Modesto and Ephraim's brother and sister-in-law in Prunedale. (Another drive-24-hours-straight vacation brought to you by our marathon driver, Ephraim. I think he broke a new record by only stopping to sleep for 15 minutes in Wyoming). We loved seeing the giant sequoias at Calaveras Big Tree State Park. Griffin playing with cousins.

Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Jamie, Rich, Hannah, Jake, Alex, and Logan came to visit from Utah for Spring Break. Have we mentioned we love visitors? It was great to see them and the boys loved showing them around a few of our favorite places. We also drove to Kansas City with them to visit historic Liberty Jail and tour the new temple there.
