We took a few hikes and just hung out a lot. Anni remembered him almost right away. She scraped up her leg for the first time just after Ross left. She fell on one of her toys. She walked all the way down the hall, while I was at work, of course. She's trying to do it, but usually only makes it about 4 or 5 steps before she falls. We're working with her as much as we can and she's getting better. I give it another week and she'll be running circles around us. Thursday, August 13, 2009. We'll try again on a warmer day.

Anni insists on trying everything that we eat, which is a good thing in theory. She hasn't figured out that she has to bite down on apples, so she just kinda licks it. Look at all that hair! She doesn't want to hold my hand when we go hiking anymore. "I'm a big girl, Mommy! Girl, and loves bags. Just the sweetest thing ever! She loves her soft blankets and packs them everywhere.
