Christian's progress and successes! Tuesday, September 13, 2011. September 13, 2011. 24 plus HOURS.this is how long Christian has currently been without his oxygen cannula in his nose! The nurse took it off yesterday at 11:00 am to see how long he would go this time without it and it hasn't been back! Again, this doesn't mean we are done with oxygen but it's certianly encouraging! When you come to the end of all the light you know, and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things shall happen: Either you will be given something solid to stand on or you will be taught to fly. Owen has been here a few times this week and in usual Owen fashion entertains the nurses and NICU staff. They stop by and look in and I ask "how did you know he was here? July 27, 2011.

Christian's progress and successes! Tuesday, September 6, 2011. September 6, 2011. Christian says "proud to he nitric oxide free"! They turned this off again on Friday and he hasn't looked back! He's also graduated from a high flow nasal cannula to a "regular" nasal cannula. We will probably come home with this type of nasal cannula for oxygen. Thursday, January 1, 2009. Big Red in the Gator Bowl. New Year's Day means football and thankfully the Huskers were back playing in a New Year's bowl. The first half was pretty much all defense and Mason found it a little boring. His nap ended in the 3rd quarter and he was all rested up and ready to cheer on the Huskers in the nail bitter of a bowl game. The Huskers beat Clemson 26 - 21! Happy New Year from the Vossler's! Sunday, July 12, 2009. Summer is flying by. Here are a few pictures to show you what we've been up to (besides the house and baby)! Mason helping Daddy mow the lawn. We are training him early! Mason saw his first no hitter at the Saltdogs game Papa Darrell took us to. Mason practicing hitting. We've spent hours in the driveway this summer hitting and pitching. At the 4th of July parade in Friend. Mason was a pro at running for candy by the end. Mason and Maddox helping Rylee celebrate her 3rd birthday.

Sunday, April 12, 2009. Easter - Day Two. The Easter bunny stopped at Mason's house and left lots of eggs filled with candy. Mason had to check each one before finding the next to see what kind of candy was in it. We went to church in Odell and then headed to Grandma Keller's for dinner. Mason and his 3 cousins hunted eggs before dinner. Mason running to find some eggs before his cousins got to them all. They are all older and faster but they were nice enough to leave some of the low ones for Mason.

Thursday, April 22, 2010. After a long winter, spring is finally here and we've been spending a lot of time outside. One of Mason's Christmas presents was left handed golf clubs and he's been trying them out a lot lately. One advantage of living across the street from the golf course is Mason and Brandon can golf a couple of holes as often as our schedules permit. Mason's actually getting pretty good, rarely misses the ball and always comes home to tell me how far he hit the ball. We got Mason a Spiderman.

We have been hospitalized once to find that his EEG isn't exactly clean BUT we have seen no signs of the extreme debilitating seizures he had been experiencing.
