Monday, April 21, 2014. Bridget went around all day saying "Happy Easter Day! And it kind of caught on. I love comparing the photos of St. Patrick's Day only one month ago with Easter today. And here's Easter; they got baskets from Mom and Dad before church, but their egg hunt via the Easter Bunny came after, followed by brunch with Nan and even more goodies:. Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Finally, the Bridget Frances Birth Story. In celebration of Bridget's upcoming second birthday (2! I'm making good on my promise to get her birth story down in writing. Hey, I. Did say I was posting these all out of order! Sometime around 10:15 I texted back and forth with S., saying that the contractions were 2.5 minutes apart. Ceci and Dave were filling up the birthing tub in our kitchen (we'd just set it up the day before! And Cec was timing my contractions on her phone.

Saturday, December 20, 2014. Will's First Day of Kindergarten! Just a little belated). Back in September, Will started elementary school, and it has been awesome. On his first day, though, he was a tiny bit nervous. He and I went out for a breakfast date beforehand:. And when he got off the bus that afternoon, he looked like this:. We celebrated with a schoolbus cupcake, and he has been 100% "on board" (sorry, I couldn't help myself) since. Saturday, December 13, 2014. Been interested in standing or crui...

Saturday, March 29, 2014. The Twins at Four Months. Anders at four months: 16 lbs. and 26 1/4 inches. Hadley at four months: 15 lbs., 8 oz. and 25 1/4 inches. Hadley has started to get frowny/whiny when we walk away from her and out of her eyeline. She is definitely a baby who feeds off of attention- when anyone makes eye contact, she lights up like that person's the best thing that ever happened to her. As you can imagine, it makes us all want to lock eyes with her as much as possible. Since these pictu...

Tuesday, February 24, 2015. Well This winter is.really something. We thought we had it bad then. It's been snowing on a daily basis (DAILY) for a month now. Noteworthy news happens when it's NOT predicted to snow- which happened this weekend! A snow-free 7-day forecast (the 10-day forecast included snow, because come on, this isn't OVER yet! The logistics of five kids under seven in this climate are pretty overwhelming. There are a few factors. Soooothat's a yes, then? 2 Bridget is a toddler. A potty...

Monday, February 2, 2015. Christmas at Home, 2014. We don't have a lot of pictures from Christmas morning, particularly no great gift-opening shots, but that's because we have twin toddlers this year and holy mackerel, there are just no hands left to take any. I'd like to remember it as "We were having too much fun to take pictures," so hopefully if I frame it that way here, there will only be rose-colored memories to enjoy later! On the lookout for Santa. Wednesday, May 21, 2014. One thing I never worried about when I found out I was having twins (and I worried about just about everything else) was Bridget's place in the family. She was only thirteen months old when she accompanied me to that fateful ultrasound, but I already knew she'd be a glass-half-full middle child. Wants to rule the roost? Order the twins around. Feels like tagging along? Referring to people and "Who's that? Referring to inanimate objects! Meaning she wants to do my run with. Here i...
