After 19 hours of labor from the time I was admitted to the hospital until she took her first breath, we welcomed our angel Avery Rae into this world. Dad was such a trooper - no sleep at all that night! Paul and I couldn't be happier - our hearts just tripled in size with love for her. Feeling her jolt and move around, guessing which part of her body is pushing outwards, trying to understand her patterns, and getting shocked when she kicks me hard right in the middle of a conversation with one of my doctors (that's always a funny moment). Thank you ladies for an amazing afternoon and party! It was exactly what I was wanting and hoping for. And thank you to everyone else for making your way up to Yogi's to celebrate the wee-little-one with us. Let me tell you, she got some absolutely adorable things from her future family and our friends.
