Wednesday, June 4, 2014. Tonight we went fishing at Raccoon River Park. It was our family's inaugural fishing outing together. It was a lovely night and Dustin and Everly each had their own respective catches! Here we are on our way to the fishing spot and Evie even carried the worms! Lines out, all set! Sunday, March 9, 2014. Last night, thanks to a Christmas present from my parents, Dustin and I were able to take Everly to her first professional ballet performance! We went to the Civic Center to take in Ballet Des Moines' spring show, Cinderella! Pretty dress and new sparkly shoes in tow, she got situated in her seat that liked to fold up, and was very very eager for that curtain to go up. The first of (hopefully! Many ballets to come! Exploring this world we call life. Thursday, August 28, 2014. Lily LOVES wearing undies. We were going to wait until the stars aligned to start potty training due to her personality. But, we decided to take the plunge. I was ready to quit a few hours in, but Jay persevered and got me back on board. We are on day 5 and she is doing quite well. We will see how it goes when we venture out :). We have had our ups and downs. but, overall, Lily is doing great! Here's to hopefully no diapers for a few months!
