Sunday, April 1, 2012. Born Thursday, March 1st, 2012 at 2:47pm. C-section at Lakeridge Health Hospital in Oshawa, Ontario. Weighing 7lbs, 1oz. 3 yr old sister, Shaila, was so happy it was a baby girl (but knew and insisted on this all along). Auntie Ragini and Uncle Jeff. Home 3 from hospital days later. Friday, June 8, 2012. Trying out the bumbo! Jayanika tried the bumbo for the first time today, after rolling onto her tummy and complaining. We thought we'd try a new position. It was a bit tiring, but she was giggling at laughing at her big sister as she passed by playing and tapping on the little chair. It's really cute to see her this happy to watch shaila play. Murphy’s law. The hospital kept giving my high carb foods with ice tea and dairy. I even waited to be discharged for the lunch that came very late and was macaroni and cheese, even though I had told them every time that I had gestational diabetes and was lactose intolerant.
