Saturday, April 17, 2010. April 17, 2010: Today was a bit chilly but we were excited to have the chance to get outside and do some yardwork. Our bushes and plants took a beating from the snow this winter so they were begging for some attention. Avery got a gardening "kit" for her birthday and she was very happy to use it. "I need my (gardening)gloves! Exhaustion after yardwork today. Avery, John and Remy piled up on the couch and slept for a couple hours. They were too cute together. Posted by The Smyths.

June 5, 2010: I'm a bit delayed but so happy to announce the arrival of John "Jack" Raseley Smyth! We've had some really good nights with Jack waking up every three hours to feed, then immediately going back to bed. It's been fabulous! Posted by The Smyths.
