A little unsure at first, but asked to see more fireworks 10 times a day for weeks. It never gets old. Stamp painting using apples picked from our trees. The artist at work. Burke Lake train ride. Start of the Rockville Twlight 5 miler. The wildlife refuge a.k.a. our backyard. Road trip to PA. Tickles from Great Grandma. Great Grandma and Stella.

Our night time routine now includes saying Night Night to doggie, cars, shoes, moon, juice, airplane or whatever else pops into his head. It's so nice to hear him communicate in real words, but I'm already missing his "chinese" that he spoke for the past few months. Our boy is getting big! Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Cousins on Easter Morning. The traditional easter egg dye with Libby. Here comes Libby and I to get those easter eggs (by force if need be). Rubber ducky, you're the one, who says you are only for bathtub use? Good to have pals in the neighborhood. Yeah that's right, this is my trike. Ring doggy bell, repeat, repeat, repeat . Unfortunately it broke for some unknown mysterious reason. The key to American happiness is just 5,000 calories away. Erin, Rob and Holden.

Monday, March 22, 2010. We've been to 2 zoos, a farm, plenty of parks, and have spent every other waking moment playing outside. Holden, Riley and Reilly at the National Zoo. Little Monkey checking out the monkeys while wearing his monkey shirt. Crashed out on the way home. Holden and Reilly at their first movie - Strawberry Shortcake Berry Fest. Holden was more interested in the moving seat bottom and cruising the aisles. Big boy helping feed Raven. Hand Me Down heaven - includes a toddler race car bed.

Friday, April 30, 2010. Ready, Set, GO! Erin, Rob and Holden. Sunday, April 25, 2010. A Visit from Libby. Grandma M, Aunt Karen and cousin Libby came for a visit. I got very few pictures of the Libby and Holden together since their schedules were completely opposite - when Libby was up, Holden was asleep and as soon as Holden got up, Libby went down for a nap. Sunday, August 29, 2010. Apples, Airplanes, and the River. Summer fun continues with lots of time spent outside. Holden loves visiting the big apples trees in our back yard. Picking one that isn't "yucky" - his new favorite word. Stopping to watch the "buggies" on our walk. For some reason, sidewalk ants are fascinating and apple ants are "yucky". A big, big truck! And of course, "Airplane! Once we got to the park. Coming in for landing. Holden's interest was diverted when these "quack quacks" came along.
